Nestled on seven beautiful acres in historic Ashland, Virginia, Hanover Academy is an affordable private school providing pre-school and Kindergarten through 8th grade education with a Christian foundation. Unlike many, all Hanover Academy pre-K instructors are fully accredited teachers.
Our elementary school and middle school students benefit from small classes, individual instruction, daily physical education classes, and our enriching art, music, drama and Spanish language programs. Hanover Academy delivers Digital Age education via individual and class project in our state-of-the-art computer lab. After-School Programs, Summer Day Camp and Summer Enrichment Programs
Hanover Academy offers an after-school program at a small weekly fee for our school families. This program gives parents a financial savings knowing their child will not need transport to a second facility for after-school care. The Academy's after-school program is educational, entertaining and safe for the children. Enrichment clubs for Chess, Drama, Computers, Yoga and other activities provide learning and fun for all ages.
Summertime for our pre-school and pre-Kindergarten students is a continuation of our Educational Program with the addition of many outdoor summer activities. There are five two-week themes where your child can participate in educational, athletic and creative activities such as drama, dance, soccer, basketball and mind boggling science experiments.
Summer Day Camp at Hanover Academy is popular with parents and students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Camp starts on June 21st and runs through August 27th. Camp is divided into two-week sessions and each session is theme-based with local field trips, science, sprouts activities and swimming.
