Hanover Academy is nestled on seven beautiful acres in the town of Ashland, Virginia. The school holds three playgrounds, a full gymnasium, a soccer field, two baseball diamonds and a state-of-the-art computer lab. Hanover Academy is a fully accredited private school with membership in the Virginia Association of Independent Schools.

Celebrating 50 years of Education
In 2009 Hanover Academy will celebrate 50 years of educating youth. Hanover Academy has undergone amazing transformations, from a small prepartory school for boys and hardships from the civil war, Hanover Academy has kept pace with
the town affectionately known as the “Center of the Universe” . Ashland is located in the heart of Hanover County.

Ashland's 150th Anniversary
Throughout 2008, Ashland, Virginia, will be commemorating its 150th anniversary with many celebratory events and activities. This special anniversary provides an opportunity to celebrate Ashland’s history and heritage, and to foster a sense of pride in our community.
