Summer Camp Protocols

  • Daily Health Checks will be conducted each morning to look for symptoms of sickness or fever. Summer Campers will have their temperature taken with a no touch thermometer and staff will check symptoms for staff and children upon entry each day and ask if medications were used to lower the child’s temperature and if there are any household members with COVID-19.
  • There will be no field trips this summer but some special in-house activities are planned.
  • Campers’ belongings will be separated in assigned cubbies. Clothing items will need to be taken home each day and cleaned.
  • Staff will implement small group activities and individual play/activities.
  • Campers will practice social distancing during lunch and snack time in the gym.
  • Summer Camp activities are planned that do not require close physical contact between campers.
  • Social Distancing will be practiced between children during table activities.
  • Adults will stay 6 feet away from each other, including staff and parents.
  • Employees and parents are requested to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the gym.
  • Summer Campers will practice frequent hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and will be directed to wash hands upon arriving at the program, when entering a classroom, before meals or snacks, after outside time, after going to the bathroom, and prior to leaving for home.
