Hanover Academy hosted its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon where families, students, and teachers come together to celebrate every November.
Each year we find a way and time to emphasize the importance of good character. This year, we will be emphasizing “kindness.” I believe it is an umbrella characteristic that encompasses all that is involved in being the person we truly desire to be and that makes a positive contribution to the world around us.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful evening for our first school fundraiser! We had over 60 people come to play Bingo, enjoy some fellowship and refreshments. We handed out 18 prizes and raised over $1,500 which made it our most successful Bingo event thus far!
Welcome to the New School Year! Wow, did we have a school of “starfish” today! How appropriate since our theme this year is “Celebrating our Fin-tastic, priceless Treasures under the Sea!” The tide was right and the temperature was perfect as our students tested the waters and dove right into learning!
Hanover Academy will have a table at Ashland Train Day this Saturday (April 30). Come out and see us for a chance to spin our train trivia wheel and then enter to win this train set and copy of The Polar Express!
